I want to believe in true love; a love so wonderful and powerful that it will last forever. A happily ever after that won’t end in divorce, in heartbreak. I want to believe that growing up doesn’t mean giving up the things you love for the old mundane. I want to believe in the type if kindness with no strings attached and no expectations of something in return. I want to believe in passion and drive. In compassion and respect. I want to believe in the triumph of good over evil; in the existence of justice. I want to believe that distance will make love grow, not disappear. That distance will make the heart grow fonder, not weaker. I want to believe in honesty and loyalty, in faith and in hope. I want to believe in forgiveness, in fate, and in destiny. But most of all, I want to believe in happiness. I want to believe that at the end of the day, we can find a reason to smile; a reason to be happy, even if for just a second.
Still More Out There.
I’m not sure about you, but there’s a lot more things out there in this world that I have yet to experience. Out of the 7 billion of people who walk and breath in this earth the same time I do, I can only say that I know only a few of them. Many of the strangers that pass through the street are nameless faces that I have yet made the effort to get to know.
And how many cities have you visited or know of so far in your life? Isn’t it odd how the reality is, that it comes no where close to how many cities there really are in this world where life is different for anyone who grows up there when compared to your own.
I mean, can you imagine how many things you still haven’t tried yet? How many foods you haven’t even attempted to eat? How many adventurous tasks that you have yet to explore? Can imagine, that even 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, or 100 years of living in this world would still not be enough time to discover, experience, and meet everything this world has to offer? That whenever we are bored or feel like in a dead end in life, that there’s actually still more out there for us…no matter what.
